September

We were pleased with the following feedback:

"Thank you guys for saving my bacon when by tyre collapsed on Wednesday!  Such prompt and helpful service, as always."

October

In February we mentioned that when we joined Twitter,we received a very nice recommendation tweet. This was welcome, but that was recently eclipsed by another tweet:

"Huge thanks for superb bodywork on my baby. £500, after AUDI Bromley quoted £2500! That's 400% more. "

September

A wile ago we started a blog to celebrate some of the good things happening locally. Do check it out, you can view it here.

July

We're looking forward to the annual Chelsfield Summer Fair on Saturday 13th July. We proudly help to sponsor the fair and have done for many years. The Fair is held close to us and this year features a Spitfire fly over once again

March

Another great tweet received! Vicky ‏- @BoppinTotsVicky - said on 29 March:

@ChelsfieldMotor Thanks for the follow! Love your motto...if it ain't broke, we don't fix it! Very refreshing to hear from a garage :) ha!

February

We joined Twitter in January. How great it was to receive this unsolicited Tweet from Orpington Football Club - ‏@OrpingtonFC on 17 January:

To all local motorists, @ChelsfieldMotor great car business for all your car needs, very reasonable too, take care of your car in the cold

January

Happy New Year! We've started 2013 with a new newsletter (attached at the foot of this page) with our £29 with a full service at the same time MOT offer and a mention for local charity The Maypole Project.

We're also proud to have set up a blog about our community and the wider area here, do take a look, follow it or contact us with comments and suggestions if you like.

2012

December

Movember is over, to the benefit of the charity and the relief of participants. As Brian said, "After the 3rd week everyone was complaining of itching and some of them even hurt! Most of us vowed never again, but most of us will probably end up doing it again next year!!!!!"

"We think after a bit of time collecting the money in, we will raise in excess of £2000 to a worthy cause so its worth the itching!"

Movember

We're supporting Movember! There is an outbreak of moustaches on our premises (of very mixed quality), along with some often predictable wit and banter, not to mention itching. All in a good cause, as the Movember website (here) says: "During November each year, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men’s faces in the UK and around the world. The aim of which is to raise vital funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and testicular cancer."

We've also launched our new Facebook page here and added a moustached photo already.

July

We were very sorry that the annual Chelsfield Summer Fair, which we support, had to be cancelled owing to waterlogging.  The Fair and its chosen charity for 2012, The Maypole Project, can count on our continued support.  We look forward to 2013.

We have donated some money to the fund to help Perry Hall Primary School retain its school crossing patrol.  We can't help every great local cause (there are so many) but we're glad to help this one.

June

We now stock and fit tyres so we can do a more complete job of looking after clients vehicles.

May

We welcome Gary to work in our bodyshop, he will add to our team who send out cars looking as good as (or better than) new.
